The Virginia Gastroenterological Society, in conjunction with the Old Dominion Society of Gastrointestinal Nurses and Associates and the American College of Gastroenterology, is pleased to once again serve as a co-sponsor of the 17th Annual “Postgraduate Course in Gastroenterology – Virginia Style”.   We will return to the Williamsburg Lodge for what promises to be another outstanding meeting.  Course directors Jayant P. Talreja, MD and Eileen Babb, BSN, RN, CGR and co-directors Neeral L. Shah, MD and Nancy Schlossberg, BA, BSN, RN, CGRN have once again assembled a world-class faculty.  Attendees will explore broad-ranging topics, from IBD, biliary, and pancreatic disorders to fecal microbiota transplantation and complex polypectomy techniques.  A special nurses’ session will focus on esophageal disorders, including hands-on training with radiofrequency ablation equipment, foreign body retrieval devices, and special endoscopic techniques.
